“Bait and Switch”

I was disappointed because the photos didn't match the actual unit; the place I got was a smaller cottage next door with no fireplace as shown. I even brought firewood, but there was nowhere to burn it. I booked two nights but decided not to stay the second night, so I spoke to management that evening, who apologized and promised a refund for the second night. I gave my bank details, yet I never received the refund and reported the issue with no resolution. The bait‑and‑switch advertising was obvious, and they didn't remove the listing from their site.

“scam”

We were given a different property than what we had booked, and were charged the same price. The owner was unresponsive to our calls for help, and the hot tub was dirty and unusable. To make matters worse, the property we were given was not what we had paid for, and we were not offered a refund for the difference. We would not recommend this property to anyone.

The owner of Pengarreg Fawr Farm House was incredibly kind and helpful when there was a mix-up with our booking. He arranged an alternative cottage for us and even gave us an extra night in the farmhouse, which was a lovely gesture. The property itself was a relaxing and peaceful place to stay, with excellent service from the owner.

“Awful! Don’t waste your money!!!”

Unfortunately, our family holiday got off to a terrible start when we arrived at the property, which looked nothing like the pictures. We had paid a premium to stay in the farmhouse, but were instead given two dirty annexes at the back of the house, which were infested with flies and smelled awful. After a long phone call, the owner eventually offered us an alternative cottage down the road, which was also unkept but had an indoor pool that saved our evening with the kids.
