“Emozioni forti!!”

The people running this village are fantastic! You truly experience Africa here, though it isn’t for everyone because you must be ready for a strong experience—no electricity, little water, no connection. The food is delicious, and the people and moments you live are magical and unforgettable; we left with our hearts. Thank you so much! Nothing to complain about—I knew the rooms were basic, so we adapted. I would at least replace the netting, as ours had holes.

The property is surrounded by nature, and the bird sounds are captivating. It’s a few kilometers from the town centre, perfect for nature lovers who just want to relax. I did have a problem with the internet connection at one point.

My stay at Mida Creek Nature Camp was perfect. The location is beautiful and incredibly peaceful, within walking distance of the creek and the village. The main road is nearby, so you can easily catch a matatu to Watamu or Kilifi. The best part is Harrison—friendly, kind, and an amazing host who goes above and beyond to make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, and the food is delicious (they can easily accommodate vegan and vegetarian requests). I can’t recommend them enough! “Autentisk upplevelse!”

The location near the mangroves was the main highlight, and the cultural experience was a nice touch. Thanks Harrison! A fan would have been great, but overall we were very satisfied with the entire stay. The most authentic and rewarding accommodation in Kenya.
