The room was tidy and the bathroom was in good condition. The owner was very helpful; when I arrived on my bike he assisted me in carrying the large bike box down and into the taxi. It was a pity they didn’t serve tea, but you can easily find it nearby.

We stayed three nights at Cheers Porthouse. For the price, the stay was completely fine. The location was good and we liked the area. However, you should know that there are several bars nearby and the music can be quite loud late into the night. There is no elevator in the hotel, but the host is very helpful and gladly assists with luggage, which we appreciated. Overall, we were satisfied. For the price, a good place to stay for a few days in Istanbul.

The location was okay. There was no elevator, no curtains to block light, the window glass was broken, and the front‑desk staff were uncooperative in the evening.

Located right in the heart of Karakoy, Istanbul, the little terrace/bar is very handy for evenings, and the hosts are kind. The sound insulation is poor and the street is indeed noisy, with many restaurants playing music. The bathroom is cramped, and the room lacks some amenities, but at this price you can make do.
