The guesthouse sits very nicely quiet on the mountain between trees, a lovely refuge in nature, which means it’s a bit outside Sighnaghi. Nino, the owner, and her mother are super kind and helpful. Nino already helps with arrival explanations, calls the bus driver, waits on the road so you get off the minibus at the right spot, and organizes everything else. For example, a great trip to a small local winery with grape picking, a wine tasting, and dinner in the family cellar (with translation by Nino herself) – a truly beautiful and authentic experience! She also books a minibus seat for the return if you need it. Really super nice! The communal balcony is very nice with many relaxing seats and adorable little cats 😻, and you can eat the included breakfast there. A nice start to the day :) Both the balcony and the room were very tidy and clean. My room was bigger than I expected and very comfortable. And because of the quiet surroundings you can sleep with the window open. I extended one night through Nino and I can only recommend the guesthouse more! The only thing that wasn’t bad was that the accommodation is a bit above Sighnaghi. It’s a small climb if you walk back, so you might want to know that if you’re not great on foot. There is also a bus that runs twice a day, you can also take a taxi or a local might pity you and take you up (that was my case 😅). The bed could maybe be a bit more comfortable if you put a topper on it (just a suggestion). But overall I slept well.

Nino was absolutely friendly. We felt very comfortable. The accommodation is above Signagi, a few minutes by car away. The wine tour organized by Nino was a lot of fun. The private tasting and wine tasting with a family that grows their own wine was top. Very authentic.

The atmosphere created by Nino and her mother is why people travel! They reached out to us before the trip, helped sort out transport, then met us on the road and brought us home. They immediately offered coffee/tea and gave us songs. It’s just a fairy‑tale terrace with flowers and breakfasts with a wonderful view, a large room with its own bathroom, good internet and a comfortable bed. I fell asleep in seconds after walks in the mountains and hills of Signagi! Nino told us where to go in town, how to get to the monastery, and drove us on a trip to the vineyards. In the evening we all cooked khachapuri together – the best I’ve ever had. It feels like we were staying with relatives who have been waiting for us and will keep waiting. I already told all my friends about this place. We hope to return! For some people the room might seem a bit plain because it lacks modern furniture and many conveniences travelers are used to in hotels. But that doesn’t matter when you’re surrounded by wonderful people! Nino has big plans to improve the house, so I’m sure next summer it will be even more comfortable.

Nino and her mum were a joy to spend time with and exceptional hosts. They were always checking in to make sure we were hydrated (and well caffeinated). During our stay we toured a small family run vineyard arranged by Nino which felt like a true authentic experience that we’d highly recommend
