The view was gorgeous – you could see the whole valley from the balcony. But the room itself felt like a bargain: the sheets were a bit rough, the bathroom had a few spots that weren't wiped clean, and the mattress was way firmer than I expected for the price. It was a nice escape, just not as comfy as it should be for what you pay.

The surrounding nature was pretty, but getting there was a nightmare. The main road was blocked by a damaged stretch, a truck even got stuck, and once inside the walkways were slick with algae – not great for walking. Breakfast was bland, the pool water felt like rainwater with no chlorine, and the whole place is just a bit cramped.
