Renovations are happening throughout the building, and I didn’t receive a discount even though the bathroom heater was out.

The hotel is in a very good spot, the rooms were smaller but not tiny. The equipment is very nice and clean. The breakfast selection isn’t huge, but a hungry person won’t leave empty‑handed and will always find something good in the end. My disappointment lies in the parking communication. I asked in advance where I could park. I was told to use the shopping center’s garages, which cost 9 EUR per day. I parked as instructed, presented the parking ticket at reception, and was told I had to pay at the garage cashier, making it a bit more expensive. I paid 19 EUR, more than double. I don’t understand why I wasn’t given the correct procedure to park at the agreed price, even though I asked beforehand. Previous reviews show this isn’t just my experience. The hotel and its staff don’t see this as a problem. :-(

The room’s furnishings are good, the central location is convenient, and the train station is quick to reach. The breakfast buffet was balanced and tasty. We’ll definitely come back.

I only stayed for a night. There was no proper reception, just two tables and a computer, but the friendly, accommodating staff helped me through the ongoing construction. No breakfast was offered at that time, as the rooms were being renovated, but Leipzig has plenty of restaurants and shops, so I didn’t starve. I can only judge the situation once the extensive renovations finish; despite the work, I slept very quietly.
