The building feels fresh and modern, but the room isn’t very private and it’s a bit of a trek to the beach. No air conditioning or kitchen, and there were only a handful of outlets. The fan was broken, but Cris was quick to bring a table fan that worked fine.

I loved the natural setting and the architecture, but the lack of clear directions made it hard to find the place. The electricity and Wi‑Fi were spotty, and the bathroom and curtains let anyone see in, so I didn’t feel very secure.

The place is rustic and quiet, but there’s no kitchen gear or coffee machine, so you have to walk 20 minutes to the nearest bakery—could be 40 in peak season. A quick cup before heading out would have been nice.

The terrace offers a stunning rainforest view, but the bathroom lacks a curtain and the glass doors to the shower and toilet let you see into the sleeping area. Early morning staff on the terrace felt intrusive, and the pool area lets you peek into other units.
