“Enjoyable and envigorating”
Range of menu and service. No car parking
The place is in a good spot, but the bed was really dusty and some kids lost toys. The bedroom door rattled constantly in its frame, and the dressing table was poorly positioned, making it hard to bring in luggage when opening the door. Breakfast options were quite limited. The lift was broken, so I had to struggle up to the room and back down with my luggage. It felt unfair to everyone, not just the elderly, especially since I was only told about it in the afternoon before my stay and had no time to book elsewhere.

The location is excellent, right opposite the hovercraft quay, and the building is beautiful and old. The staff were super helpful, and both our room and the communal areas were very clean. On the downside, everything feels a bit dated and not well maintained: the sink was loose, the shower leaked, and the Wi‑Fi in our room was weak. Breakfast felt cheap, with watered‑down orange juice and other low‑quality items; perhaps the price could be raised and the menu improved.

The hotel sits right on the waterfront, in the city centre and near bus stops and the Pier. The staff were very welcoming and professional. The rooms were comfortable, and the breakfast was hearty and superb.
