The spot is great and the views are solid, and the room itself is big and roomy. I couldn’t drop my luggage off when we got into town because they don’t have 24/7 check‑in.

The place is central and the view is open. The air‑conditioner wasn’t working right and it was noisy. The room feels old‑fashioned and would need a full renovation. There’s no parking at the hotel.

The view was excellent, overlooking the Temple of the Gods and you could see the lights at night. The spot is great, just a short walk from the train station on flat ground, with restaurants along the way. Breakfast was good; the host offered a cold continental breakfast and a cappuccino. Unfortunately the power on the key was welded to the key ring, so I couldn’t turn on the A/C when I left and the room stayed very hot all night. It took 5 hours to cool down, making sleep hard at 90‑degree temps. A major security issue was the use of very old‑style skeleton keys, which made the room locks easy to open. No other place in Sicily we stayed at had such old locks. Finally, the furniture was very old and needed an upgrade.

The room is bright. The room itself is a bit modest.
