The room was spacious, the bathroom was a good size, it was comfortable, and the church bells chimed on the hour – all in all it was nice.
“Great value for money”
The place offers excellent value, and the vinyl bar is really cool.
“The staff were all friendly and helpful. Easy walking distance to church & shops”
We skipped breakfast at the hotel, but its central location made it easy to walk to the main shops and the church. The room lighting was disappointing: only one light by the double bed and the main light was broken. We had plenty of hangers, yet nowhere to hang our clothes; the supposed built‑in wardrobe was completely sealed off.
The location was good, but the beds were very hard, there was water damage to the ceiling, wallpaper peeling on the ceiling, split lino flooring in the bathroom with a sharp wood edge that required caution when entering, and a broken glass partition in the bar area that looked very dangerous so I sat on the other side.
