The place is falling apart, and what we saw was far from the pictures; there is no reception, the room smells, and we booked it to experience “Hutong” culture but instead got a dirty setting and towels. Because of the national holiday all nearby hotels were full, so we stayed three nights. It’s not a hotel, yet it charges above‑average rates. The ads and photos are misleading; it shouldn’t be listed during that period.

The spot is right in the middle of everything, and the whole vibe is just great. I loved the energy of the neighborhood and the easy walk to the station. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. Overall, a solid spot for a quick stay.

I found the hotel surprisingly fast, even with the spelling mix‑up on the site and the signs. It's a short walk from the station and the main street is full of music stores. Inside, it was clean and cool, and the top‑floor terrace was quiet enough to relax, even though the lights were off. The single room was just the right size, the futon comfy, and the only downside was the café on the first floor that wasn't open – not a deal‑breaker.

The hostel is a stone's throw from Pinanli station – just 250 meters – and the low‑rise building keeps the street noise out. The rooms are small but feel roomy thanks to the loft bed, and the Wi‑Fi is solid at 40 Mbps. There's no TV, but there's a fridge, laundry, and a free, shared laundry room, plus a café that serves food. The only real downsides are the lack of soundproofing between rooms and the absence of a TV.

Location is top, staff are friendly, and the room is spacious. The neighborhood is nice, but the TL bar is a bit of a let‑down.
