“The cost for valet parking is astronomical! And when I arrived I had to wait in the street wondering for quite a while w”
The location is awesome, but I felt forced to use valet parking because it was the only option.
“We love Fells Point and love staying at this hotel. It's in a great location.”
I like the updates that were made, but I think $80 a night for valet is ridiculous. We’ve stayed here several times and keep getting the same corner room, while friends who booked after us got a much larger room for the same price.
“Beautiful hotel but beware a floor can have multiple levels w/steps that you have to navigate”
The location was great and the hotel looked beautiful. We were in Baltimore for a concert, so prices were higher than usual. If I’m paying over $700 for a night, I shouldn’t have to ask for basic things like toilet paper and do‑not‑disturb signs. We were assigned a room on the second floor, but after taking the elevator we had to climb two separate sets of stairs to get there, and the front desk didn’t warn us. On a weekday we saw a sign advertising a reasonably priced breakfast buffet, but the next morning the restaurant was a sit‑down, full‑service place; when we asked, the staff seemed unaware and just said it wasn’t available that day. The sign was gone in the lobby, and the same server handled us; she did her job but was stiff, making us feel like a nuisance. I ordered a $19 bagel (which was supposed to be a croissant but they were out) sandwich with bacon, egg, avocado, and cheese, and it was delicious.
We love this place and always stay when we’re in Fells Point, but parking fees are a downside.
“The hotel is a whole vibe”
The location was perfect. The room was absolutely beautiful and the staff were 10/10. The vibe of the place was just my and my husband's style. I also love that it had premium TV stations like iheart radio to listen to while we got ready to go out and about. Also the speakeasy bar in the basement is the most. It is small and a bit pricey but you have to head down there just for the vibe. The only downfall was because it is an older building you could hear the doors slamming from other rooms and the 2 other rooms near us one across and one beside where in and out a lot and they let the doors slam and we could hear someone getting sick while we were in our bathroom. But it could have been the visitors who lived there in the past if you know what I mean 👻 lol. But other than that it was perfect
