Sleeps 2
The Double Room with Private Bathroom offers a single double bed for two guests. A private bathroom is provided within the room. A wardrobe, tea and coffee making facilities, and a flat‑screen TV with cable channels are available for convenience.
The place sits in a great spot and the rates are decent, but the shared bathroom could use a refresh.
The hotel was modern, clean, reasonably priced, and in a good location, though the sash windows wouldn’t stay open unless you propped them with a coffee mug, and I couldn’t find a hairdryer in the room; otherwise the room was perfect.
“We were pleasantly surprised”
I liked the cozy bed and the friendly lady behind the bar who guided us to our room, and everything else was fine.
“Served our purpose.”
The beds were comfy and the room felt nice, yet the nights were noisy outside, there was no breakfast, and overnight parking wasn’t available.
“Near the station with a pub downstairs”
The hotel was clean, the bed very comfortable, and it was only a 6‑7 minute walk from the station; the entrance being a pub was convenient, but the actual entrance to the hotel was far away, so we had to go in and out, up, and then find our bedroom—if you’re drunk you’ll get lost trying to locate your room.
