The place is in a pretty spot, the grounds are tidy, and parking is a breeze – they even have a backup generator. The only downside is that they don’t let you pick a room without stairs inside, and the breakfast was pretty weak.

It’s a quiet area, no annoying noise. But when I came with an elderly relative, the stairs were a problem and they didn’t offer to move us to a different room.

I won’t get into a debate – everyone sees things differently. Back in January 2022 I noted the value for money and the decent breakfast, but four years later the breakfast still hasn’t improved. The air‑conditioning is okay, the bathroom is cramped, the bed and parking are great, but the staff are inflexible, Wi‑Fi is spotty, and the overall cost‑benefit sits around 8 out of 10.
