I can’t think of anything positive; the mold in the bathroom, windows that let in breeze and didn’t lock, an electric blanket that only half worked, a door that couldn’t be deadlocked, peeling paint, a condom packet on the floor, no heating, and the overall bleakness of all of the above.

The hotel was right next to Lithgow station, which was great for getting around, but the place really needed a lot of cleaning and refurbishment. The building felt shabby, the heating was weak, and the room itself was disappointing. The bed was very bumpy, the cupboards were covered in dust and even had dead bugs, the curtains were sheer so you could see in, and the bathrooms were awful.
