The pub‑hostel combo works well, though one staff member was very rude and spoke badly to people.

The hostel’s spot is spot‑on, everything’s within a 20‑minute walk. But the rooms feel overcrowded, noise is constant, and bathroom cleanliness is poor; there’s no sink, just a toilet.

The receptionist and staff were conscientious. I loved the quiet after 10 pm in the dorm rule, which made for a great stay. There was no wash basin in the bedroom or a private wash basin area, so I don’t always want a shower.

You’re allowed to bring your own food and drinks into the downstairs pub, and the bar’s atmosphere is pleasant. The rooms, however, get quite hot and lack good ventilation.
