I stayed in a central spot but it was inside a residential building, so the room was part of a house that the owners lived in, with no separate lounge. The place was a smoker’s room, and the entrance was hard to spot; I had to call a number to get in. My short‑term booking wasn’t honored, the room still needed cleaning, and I couldn’t move in until 22 00. The owners were very helpful and friendly, though.

The room was decent and only a 10‑minute walk from Oristano’s centre. However, unlike the listing, there was no private space – it shared a room with the owners in a residential block. The décor was a bit eclectic and cluttered. The shared bathroom was dirty, and the breakfast was poor: stale biscuits and “choux” plus only coffee. Water bottles were handed out at check‑in but charged at check‑out. Avoid it.

The B&B owners were welcoming, speaking only Italian, but Google Translate helped explain everything neatly. The living room, where breakfast was served, was full of art and kitsch décor. Smoking was allowed inside, but that didn’t bother us.
