The spot is easy to locate and close to the caves and the road to Semuc Champey, but the price feels high for what the hotel offers. There was no hot water, a dead cockroach in the room, and at night a huge spider walked across the bathroom. The towel wasn’t soft.

Perfect for visiting Semuc Champey and right next to the shuttle station that takes you anywhere. The on‑site restaurant is a bit plain; I’d suggest trying the one next door, “Aragoncito,” run by a lovely owner with excellent food.

It’s quiet, yet customer service is almost nonexistent: no lights on the routes and it felt empty. Only the staff were friendly.
