Not a long time spent in the room but had a comfy sleep. Arrived at 11.30PM and left for work at 7AM. Bed was comfy and shower was powerful. No phone signal in the room. Think its due to the thick stone walls which makes a nice feature in the room

Everything was friendly, the people were nice, the room was comfortable, and I would stay again.

After visiting the Eden Project and before heading to Perranporth, I stayed a short one‑night and it did the job; the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, the room was just outside the main pub so felt separate and was a really good size, and although our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, the manager quickly sorted it and compensated us with some drinks and snacks while we waited; the food was decent pub food and the pub locals were chatty and friendly; parking was a bit of an issue because locals use the spaces as well, but with a little hopping around we managed to park nearby; because it was a Saturday into a Sunday breakfast wasn’t offered due to prep for Sunday lunch, but the manager said he could organise something if we needed it, which we didn’t, but thought was a kind gesture; the room itself just needed more of a thorough general clean, and although the building is very old and the internal room was nicely decorated, we felt that the cobwebs/spiders in the corners of the ceilings and behind the head board of the bed wouldn’t have been there if the room had been cleaned from top to bottom and not just surface areas.

Friendly staff, an issue with one of the rooms was resolved quickly, but it was quite noisy, though that’s to be expected staying in a pub.
