Your rooms are generally clean, nice, and made with good materials, and the bed was fine enough; however, the blue plastic bowls at the breakfast buffet are awful—buy bamboo ones instead and find a spot for the bowls so people don’t stare at trash on the carts, maybe shield them a bit with a wall panel. The juice in the vending machine isn’t drinkable. Otherwise it meets expectations for location and price. This is our second visit and the bathroom wash‑basin still barely worked or was almost stopped, so only a little water comes through. Hope you improve that part when we come back next time.

The hotel is a nice new building and the receptionists are very helpful. The rooms were tidy and the beds were very comfortable. However, half of the hotel is shared with a COA reception centre, and when I was looking for the hotel a big fight broke out right at the entrance – the police told me it’s a known spot for them and that residents of the hotel were involved. We had booked this place for the Challenge Almere, specifically because the station is right in front of the entrance, and on the evening before the race I had to pick up my girlfriend from the station because she didn’t feel safe walking alone across the street, so the weekend was supposed to be carefree. The lobby is mainly used by COA residents as a hangout, which takes away the nice spot for a drink. After a lot of phone calls and emails via Booking, we finally got through to a responsible person, but no manager was on the line. In that conversation we were told that the hotel is not responsible for the situations around it, and they claimed no incidents were known to them.

“Super Lage. Gerne wieder.”

Room on the 6th floor, centrally located, hotel is very clean, staff sometimes don’t speak Dutch, and the nearby parking garage is super close to the hotel; the breakfast is very simple, the fruit is always out of stock, and the tea selection at breakfast is very limited.

“Heerlijk en rustgevend”

The location is great – close to a shopping centre and public transport. The breakfast could have been a bit more extensive, but it was fine.
