The reception staff were charming, professional, and very kind. We didn’t like the spa; it was closed on Sunday. It’s a crappy spa hotel where it’s hard to get treatment. The place was dark, the front desk was not friendly, and overall we didn’t feel any understanding of what a spa is. The venue was pleasant, with nice lighting and a pleasant scent, but it was really uninviting.

The rooms were nice, the staff was friendly and helpful, but I didn’t like how far everything was from the hotel. The housekeeping, especially the bedding, was a problem: when I slept in someone else’s bed I didn’t want to touch the blanket, yet they had layered it with two sheets underneath. I would have preferred a proper fitted sheet.
