The property was clean and felt like home away from home. It’s in a quiet and safe environment. Water was hot throughout and it’s quiet and peaceful. There’s coffee and kitchen facilities as well as 2 completely rusks. We had our own keys provided during our stay and we accessed the property anytime we wanted. The host wasn’t very welcoming. We asked if there is a mall nearby and she recommended us a spaza shop by the corner, we felt a bit undermined. The tv was not working properly. The main bathroom light was not working, we called to alert her and she said there was nothing she could do about it. There’s notes everywhere around the room as to how we should shower to save water, to save electricity, to limit the number of times we use the kettle, and to limit the usage of plugs, it felt condescending like we were little kids. There was a whole plastic covered on the bed and it felt uncomfortable overnight because it would make noise while shifting on the bed. We were cold at night and winter blankets were not provided
