The peace, the typical house, well situated between Bayeux and Port en Bassin (fishing, e.g., mussels with fries 13 € at Chez Sabine on the back harbor side right) – definitely visit the casemates with cannons at Longues sur Mer!

A charming little apartment in the countryside. Clean and well furnished. The kitchen is well supplied, only the stove is missing. Very quiet.

“Wij hebben het er prima naar ons zin gehad.”

Lieve gastheer en gastvrouw die ons allerhartelijkst ontvingen. Comfortabel appartementje met slaapkamer incl. een zitgedeelte, badkamertje met WC, keukentje en eigen voordeur. Zitje in de voortuin. Auto kun je gratis voor de deur parkeren. Deze B&B is omringd door een prachtige natuur en is centraal gelegen op een paar km. afstand met de auto naar het middeleeuwse stadje Bayeux, het pittoreske vissersplaatsje Port en Bessin Huppain en de historische plekken aan de Normandische kust, zoals Arromanches, Omaha Beach ect. die een cruciale rol hebben gespeeld tijdens WO2 voor de bevrijding van Europa. Wij waren er niet op voorbereid dat we een trap op moesten naar ons appartementje. Dit is belangrijk om toch in de beschrijving te vermelden ivm gasten die moeite hebben met traplopen

A beautiful spot, a room with a bathroom on the first floor of a stunning house. Clean, welcoming and with a view of the horses. Excellent strategic point to go see the Normandy landing and make a stop at Bayeux Belle.
