Everything was perfect

The owner’s hospitality and the room’s cleanliness amazed me so much that I want to come back. I consider this property one of the best in Gjirokaster. Absolutely nothing to add.

The room was great and the staff were very kind, giving me fresh figs for the bus trip which I really appreciated. It’s a 20‑minute walk to the old town, which is a bit tricky at night, but most accommodation is along that route. The bus terminal is also a 20‑minute walk, but it’s all downhill so easy enough.

Everything was brand new and clean. The staff were very friendly. The room is a bit small. In Gjirokastra there were other larger options at the same price or even a euro less, but I kept this place because it allowed cancellation until 6 pm on the arrival day and I was driving a newly rented car from Tirana. The shower has a one‑third partition, but the rain isn’t on the side; it’s in front of those two thirds of space with no partition, and the grille doesn’t have enough slots to let water drain quickly. I had to cut my bath to let it drain.
