Rich was the best. The reception was very good, but the cleaning staff ignored us, no greeting. When we pulled back the pillow, a lot of hair fell around the bed, making us feel the room wasn’t properly cleaned. The room’s scroll was torn, which was unpleasant.

The shower on the 5th floor had a slightly weak water flow.

Overall, the property was clean and the staff were friendly. Everyone greeted me with a smile and handled everything with great courtesy.

I was in a bustling area close to Ueno Station, but the rain forced me to take a taxi from the station, which ended up taking a detour through many one‑way streets and costing over ¥1000 without even reaching the hotel front. To make matters worse, the main bath was under renovation, so I had to go to a nearby sister shop for a soak, which was disappointing given the wet weather.
