It gets very loud in the evenings from the bar next door. In the hotel everything was wonderful.

It was a wonderful place to stay, with plenty of peace and space, and Maria provided fantastic reception and care, a warm, caring woman who invested a lot of time and extra energy into looking after her guests, offering useful tips for exploring the area. We had a very spacious attic room accessed by stairs, and Maria even carried our heavy luggage up herself—she’s a superwoman. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast with plenty of fruit and treats, each day slightly different. We stayed during a cool period, so the room temperature wasn’t an issue, though air conditioning might be considered for future use, especially on the attic during warmer days. Unfortunately, we found both mattresses to be extremely hard, and the lighting next to the bed was very bright, especially at night—blinding!

“Desconexión perfecta”

The place is charming in a spectacular setting, very pretty and cozy, like home. With views, hiking routes, and many nearby activities, the lounge is very quiet for tea or rest, and the breakfast is full. It’s important to know that there’s nowhere to shop or eat in the village; you have to go to Ponferrada or other towns. The environment is natural, rustic, and rural, ideal for nature lovers and disconnecting. The price might be a bit high, but the experience is worth it. The host offers personalized, friendly, and pleasant service, providing excellent information and advice on vacation or weekend planning, and the recommendations are very helpful and appreciated. Overall, you feel at home while relaxing. We came as a couple and loved it, and we highly recommend it.

“Excelente hotel y excelente personal.”

Excellent hotel with a super pleasant staff and excellent service; we’re delighted—no place has treated us with such kindness and affection. The breakfasts at ten, Maria the host, made us feel at home, doing everything herself. We will definitely return. I have nothing negative to say; everything is unbeatable.
