“Very disappointed (Service vs Price are not really related)”

The room is nice and very calm. The location is nice, kind of close to the main port, 7‑11, restaurant, and local night market. Breakfast is nice even if there is no choice. The staff are nice (but we can see them only once a day though). With the price of more than 200€ per night I expected so much more about the service. It’s almost like there is no service here. Just welcome us, bring us breakfast and that’s all. They all disappear. We cannot contact the staff (neither via phone, text, or message via booking) and that’s very frustrating. The access to the hotel is not welcoming at all. No sign makes it impossible to find and we have to ask the locals there. In front of the building there is a small text mentioning the name of the hotel, but in Thai only which is not helping. We have to pass lots of local houses and again… with more than 200€ per night, we expected so much more than this. The shower is ok but the water from the overhead one is not really strong. We have no access to the sea from the room (still have to take some motorcycles to go to the beach or rent the motorcycle). The outdoor space is very nice but not enough light to enjoy the night and not enough shade to enjoy the day.

Очень красивый большой номер, с великолепным видом из окна и террасой с джакузи. Это даже не выглядит как обычная гостиница, 2 рядом номера больше напоминающие аппратаменты. Ощущение, что ты абсолютно один. нет ни соседей , ни персонала. Очень сложно найти. Нет ни единой вывески или указателя. Нашли только благодаря тому, что зашли в соседний отель и попросили персонал позвонить в в нужный нам отель, чтобы нас встретили. Потому что иначе во всех этих дворах- гостиницу не найти

The room itself was nice, but the common areas, entrance, signage, and staff were barely there. It looked and felt like a run‑down Thai house, with a woman who seemed to have only a vague idea of what a hotel should be.

“Time is limited”

The view was amazing, the terrace tub and stylish interior were great, and they even offered welcome drinks, cake, and fruit. But the location was confusing; I walked to the front of the hotel, called from the front, and could not find it. The staff said they would pick me up in a golf cart to the port, then insisted on going to the port again, so I had to walk back to the port and get a ride. They claimed I was waiting at the port, which was not helpful. The staff’s English was poor, and for a $200 a night hotel, better training is needed. At night the auto‑lock failed, so I couldn’t enter my room. The staff were gone, so I called a nearby resident to alert them (thanks). They eventually came with tools, but couldn’t unlock the door for about an hour, leaving me without wallet or phone outside. I had to wait until the guest in the adjacent room returned, then they let me in. I entered through the door between the two terraces, then through the window, and finally unlocked the door. The auto‑lock was battery‑powered; the battery cover screw was loose, and a fall during closing caused the battery to drop and the lock to fail. The staff then said, “You have to close the door slowly.” For a cheap hostel this might be normal, but for a $200 a night hotel this is unacceptable and shows a lack of customer care.
