Motel 6 La Porte, TX

The front‑desk staff were so friendly and efficient that by the time I arrived they had already taken care of me quickly and kindly, which is great for tourists because being stuck and served reluctantly isn’t a good experience, but here the first‑class service was decent and friendly; I definitely love this hotel. I liked how clean the room and the service were; what I didn’t like was that there was no coffee in the room and no iron for the clothes, everything else was very good.

“Thankfully short”

It was close to the family homes we were visiting. There was no elevator; they tried to put me upstairs but I said no, I asked for a refund, and then suddenly they had a room downstairs.

“Good”

It’s always very convenient for a little getaway. The floors, walls and headboard were sweating, which kind of messed up the mood; it was our 14th‑year wedding anniversary, and all in all it was a great visit.

I was really disappointed with the cleanliness of the floor during my stay. It was so dirty that it turned my feet and my son's feet black. I expect a certain level of cleanliness, especially when it comes to the floors.
