I’ve stayed twice at Chada house and both times the staff were friendly, the spot was unbeatable, and the two dogs were a delight to pet! The rooms stayed spotless, with fresh coffee, tea, and towels every day. The staff felt like family, the AC kicked in fast, and the bathrooms were roomy. The only hiccup was that the extra plug socket near the kettle didn’t work, but a regular extension solved the issue.

The location was spot on, but that’s the only high point. The bathroom was insanely hot—more like a sauna—and it was far from clean. When we tried to flag a problem late at night, the security guard who was supposed to help just told me to leave and ignored me on purpose. We left a day early because we couldn’t stand the brutal heat in the bathroom, and the air conditioning was awful.

The bed was in a good spot and the place was clean. Nothing else to note.

It’s close to the pier gate and you can walk to Wat Chedi Luang in a few minutes. The reception staff were very helpful.

I loved how central it was to the old city and how friendly the staff were. The fridge was also great. The other, smaller room I stayed in had curtains that let in a lot of sunlight.
