The location was excellent, just a quick walk to the old town, and the staff and owner were exceptionally friendly; you could book a free parking spot, and although the hotel sits on a busy street, you don’t hear it with the windows closed. The price‑value fell slightly because a fair and a festival were happening that day, which raised the rates; the vibe felt a bit old‑school but still nice, and it reminded me of my grandma.

I often come to Düsseldorf for concerts or other events and love staying at the House Mooren; I always feel very comfortable there and appreciate the vintage furnishings.

The reception was very friendly, the small hotel has a nice ambiance, the tram to the city center is right outside, and they even offered an extra service of an ÖPNV ticket during the stay; everything was clean and the bed was wide and pleasant. The parking was a bit tricky and better to book ahead, the main road and tram outside the front door made it noisy with the windows open, and the hotel rates were high because of the Backstreet Boys concert.
