“夏休み!!”
The freshly baked bread at breakfast was so tasty that I felt happy right from the moment I woke up. I also enjoyed the time spent with Sheri and Cosmos, which was very soothing. The pajamas in the room had a cute vibe and the room felt very comfortable! Everyone staying there was also nice, and I felt the warmth of people—it was a great place to stay. The only downside was that the path to the open‑air bath was dark, so it was a little scary at night… but that was part of the thrill.
“整いました”
The surroundings were lush and the cleaning and attention to detail were thorough. The staff were calm and answered every question I had as a first‑time traveler with patience. The dinner course was so abundant I couldn’t finish it, and the freshly baked bread in the morning was wonderful. The hospitality was flawless. The other guests were all calm. The onsen had three spots: the source hot spring of Mt. Tanigawadake, an open‑air bath, and an indoor bath. The mascot dogs were also calm. I plan to return with my family next time. The enclosure of the open‑air bath was high and good, but a tiny part was cut off, so I wondered if a bear might show its face? If the whole enclosure could be closed, I’d feel safer.
Doggies! What more could you want? Everything else was perfect too. The owners were friendly and their service was impeccable; both dinner and breakfast felt homely and tasted great, and the onsen was wonderful (though I preferred the indoor one because the outdoor one was too hot!). All in all, a great stay. I’d love to visit again in a different season for the garden or for snow. The only thing I can think of is that one stinkbug that landed on my bed—harmless, though 😂
“Warm and cozy”
A beautiful stay right in the middle of mountains, rivers, and greenery. The family who runs this place are very nice, and the dogs were cute and friendly, always wanting pets. The outdoor and indoor baths, English garden, and freshly cooked breakfast and dinner were spectacular (the croissants and pot pie are their specialties). If you like outdoor activities, the Canyons Minakami are within 1.5 km. We’d love to stay here again.
“Everything was perfect!”
The host was friendly, the place cozy, the meals delicious, and the dogs lovely.
