Tucked away in the forest, the hotel’s setting is perfect if you want to escape the city noise, and the room we stayed in was spacious and comfy. The kitchen, however, was a nightmare – it was filthy and basically unusable, even though we’d brought groceries to cook. The manager showed up late every morning, so we relied on a kind lady who kept the utensils tidy and let us use the kitchen.

The place needs a serious upgrade in both cleaning standards and the plumbing. Right now the bathrooms are unreliable and the rooms feel neglected.

The place was a disaster – it wasn’t even properly cleaned and we went three nights without any running water. We ended up washing ourselves with bottled water we bought, and the only “solution” they offered was a bucket of water. The staff refused any refund despite the obvious lack of maintenance, and other guests even had beds without sheets. It ruined our island vacation, so I can’t recommend it at all.

The hotel’s location is convenient, but the outside area was dirty and we weren’t even put in the room we had booked. It was clear the property suffers from a lack of basic upkeep and cleanliness. Overall, the poor maintenance outweighed the good spot.
