I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and quiet the place was, and the value was unbeatable—definitely a great motel for the money. The exterior looked ordinary, but the room itself was in excellent condition. It isn’t luxurious, yet it’s a solid bargain. The only downside was the signage; even with GPS it was hard to find.

I couldn’t say much about the positives. The real issue was that the price jumped from 91 to 190 from one night to the next—totally unfair.

The room was outstandingly clean and seemed to have been remodeled recently; hot water came on fast and was plenty. The lodge was very close to my travel route, and the ventilation system was very quiet. However, the bed was too soft, there wasn’t enough closet space, and the bath lacked a TP roll holder. The place was fairly quiet, with only a few cars racing on Kidder Street.

The location was really good and the rooms were clean. The only problem was that there was nowhere to hang clothes or wet towels.
