Cajuí da Praia Atins Suite with Yard

The spot is fantastic – just a block away from the beach, restaurants and the little Atins center. We hit a snag at the start because the host didn’t give us any instructions for the room, but once we got in touch she was quick to help. The room sits among other locals and could do with a few basic upgrades – a mosquito net, a mop and some bathroom disinfectant, extra sockets and a new bulb. It was sweltering when we were there and there’s no air‑conditioning, the fan barely makes a dent.

Carol is the kind of host you don’t meet often – genuinely friendly, open and always ready to assist. The place itself is fine, though some of the gear feels a bit dated, especially the mosquito net that could use a replacement. Overall, a pleasant stay thanks mainly to her.

“Séjour peu agréable et inconfortable”

The hotel is right by the beach and they even let us check out later than usual, which was handy. Unfortunately, communication was poor – we weren’t greeted, the room wasn’t cleaned when we arrived and we had to wait the whole afternoon for it to be ready despite telling them we’d show up around 2‑3 pm.

The room felt cozy and the bathroom worked fine, plus the little hammock out front was a nice touch. The host took great care of us and gave solid tips on things to do around Atins. It’s a quiet, relaxing spot overall.

The person who welcomed us was really friendly and eager to help. The photos made the place look cleaner and more organized than it actually was – the room was dusty, the distance to most attractions was longer than we expected, and the clothes rack kept collapsing whenever we tried to hang our stuff. Those issues put a dent in an otherwise decent stay.
