I stayed at a very basic hostel with bunk beds in an open room, like a school camp, and it was only a 10 minute walk from the train station. It’s a budget option where you pay for what you get – the lockers are small and the facilities are a bit run down, but overall it’s clean.

The hostel is very large, with a rooftop bar where you can buy something; the rooms are big, the beds are comfortable, there are toilets in the rooms and outside, and a lift. Check‑in is until midnight, the owner is nice even though he almost doesn’t speak English, but the young people at reception do. Mainly there is no kitchen, not even a fridge. There are no normal towels; you can buy beach towels for 7 euros.

They kept the place well and it’s walkable to the station and bus stop. Breakfast was good and the reception staff were great!

I liked how cheap it was for the area and the breakfast was nice, although the coffee was very weak. The tables and hot water urn were great since there’s no kitchen, so you can still eat your own food or have something with hot water. The balcony was nice, but you can only sit there unless you buy something to see the sunset; the free area doesn’t allow you to see the sunset. You have to make the beds yourself and many people didn’t, sleeping on bare mattresses. I told them about it and they didn’t care, which added a strong, disgusting odor to the room. The aircon was also not working and kept turning off randomly at night, even after I reported it. It’s very far from Sorrento, not in Sorrento at all, so when I booked for Sorrento I ended up forty minutes down the road and was surprised. At 2am a large group of around six men were very disruptive, woke up the whole room, and security had to tell them to be quiet; they said they would kick them out the next day but never did. They also bait for good reviews on Google, offering a free can of Coke or soft drink if you give them a good review.

Perfect location and wery kind staff. The breakfast was simple but tasty and lifesaving. As a person used to hostels, I really missed a fridge, to be able to keep cool our drinks and food, a small bedside table, because we had to keep aour belongings on the floor, a curtain or lamp at the beds
