Gaborone Hotel

We stayed at Gaborone Hotel and found it convenient for shopping, with many malls within easy walking distance offering great prices. The staff were courteous and well‑trained, and when my colleague left his phone in a cab on our way to the airport, the hotel quickly located the driver and retrieved it for us, which was a swift and helpful response. We were a conference group from another country, so the complimentary breakfast was a nice gesture. The only downside was the lack of an elevator, though that seems to be a work in progress. Overall, a place worth revisiting.

“Ideal location and a good place for a short stop over”

Close location to the bus and taxi rank which makes for easy access to transport. We met friendly and helpful staff during our visit. Beautiful view of the city on the 3.rd floor on the side overlooking the bus & taxi station / terminals. The room space is very large. The building is dated and the rooms need to be modernised, but considering the price, location to shops & public transport, cleanliness and comfort of the beds, this is an ideal location for short business trips or visits to the city. Free Parking is available and the premises is clean & safe. The reception area, restaurant and bar facilities need to be modernised and a more inviting atmosphere to dine or spend time in the facility should be made a priority for management

“Ok for short stay!:”

The staff were nice, and the location was convenient because it’s right next to the bus station to Maun. However, the place wasn’t very clean – mold was visible in the bathroom – and it needs an upgrade.
