The location was great for me because I love mountains. The room was large, with a good bathroom, very Scottish with tartan throws on the beds and heavy wooden furniture. Breakfast was a buffet style and very filling. A nice touch I hadn’t seen much elsewhere was that an evening meal was reserved for all guests if needed, without having to book. There was nothing I didn’t like.

The setting was amazing, with mountains all around. It has a quaint Scottish feel with the old buildings and the décor/furniture – very charming. The staff were very lovely. I was disappointed with the food; the chicken and potatoes felt reheated rather than made to order, and the vegetables were almost raw. It all tasted fine, but I expected more quality for the price.

A great place in Glencoe, chosen as a stopover on the way to Skye. It’s very well located and I was warmly welcomed. The accommodation has an old country house style, an open fireplace, and small cozy rooms. The room offers a view of the valley and the mountains. Breakfast was very good, with everything you could wish for!!! Dinner was a bit too expensive for the quality; a 10 % tip was added directly (again?) to the bill. The rates for the accommodation were a bit high, but apparently still okay for the area.
