Location. A tasty restaurant nearby. First off, I just wanted to say the price is sky‑high and in Chișinău you can find a 5‑star hotel for that amount. Even late‑night check‑in doesn’t get a discount, and breakfast isn’t included. Then things got worse: an empty minibar, walls so thin that friends from the adjacent room could hear us say “Good night” while lying in our beds. No joke. Expect no food if you arrive late. I had to walk to a street restaurant. Then some surprises: a broken toilet, four kids playing with planes on the floor early in the morning and shouting like maniacs (it felt like they were playing on my head). Even the slippers were kitschy – I thought they weren’t even made anymore, but the hotel found a supplier and bought them… :( No hygiene sets either. The cherry on top was a mouse (hope it wasn’t a rat) running around the ceiling on the gypsum board for a while. Sleep was impossible, it was even scary.
I especially want to point out the high professionalism of the front‑desk staff. The employee who handled my check‑in showed flawless competence, speed, and genuine hospitality.
Breakfast was good. The room was clean. Great location. No mosquito nets on the windows. Poor sound insulation. The Wi‑Fi in the room was weak.
