“Sehr zu empfehlen”
The location right on the slope was fantastic, the breakfast was excellent and both restaurants were superb, the hosts were very friendly, the lounge had a nice atmosphere, and there was a small sauna, a steam bath and a gym available if you booked ahead.
“Weekend parfait”
The location in a typical, small‑scale village is nice, but it would be better to have a jacuzzi and/or a pool in the wellness area.
“Fantastica ara unos dias de ski en St. Martin lejos de los centros masivos y ruidosos de 3Valles”
I found this classic wooden hotel to be great, with good services, spacious rooms, fantastic ski‑room heaters, and a quiet, tranquil atmosphere a bit away from the centre. The restaurant terrace was relaxing, and water and coffee were available in the room every day. It takes 10 minutes walking up stairs to the centre, and 3 minutes walking with skis to the centre of the forfaits and telecabine, but you have to ski back to the ski‑room on foot.
“bon séjour”
The staff were kind, but the attic restaurant was very ordinary, more like a cafeteria.
“Friendly v well located hotel but I feel a little overpriced, food portions also laughably small.”
I stayed at a family‑owned hotel that’s ski‑in, ski‑out and a short walk to the telecabine, and a fairly short walk to the centre of Saint Martin. The rooms were nice, in very good condition and very clean, with an okay view that wasn’t amazing. The staff at check‑in were very friendly. Parking was very good, but it cost €29 a day, and there were no other parking options unless you’re lucky or don’t mind leaving your car a distance away. The bathrooms in rooms 106 and 107 were strange: a big bathroom with a shower inside the bath, which didn’t give enough space for a separate shower. They felt like accessible rooms, although we weren’t told that. There were no hooks for coats or other items, a common omission in ski apartments and hotels, though I don’t know why. Food portions were very small, even though the food was well cooked, so it didn’t feel like good value. The menu in the main restaurant was overly fussy, with the chef trying too hard to make it fancy, which we didn’t need; we just wanted basic, well‑made food. The other restaurant upstairs was so quiet that we were the only people there, even though they told us the hotel was full.
