Maringotka is excellent, fully equipped, and the bathroom is simply amazing. We had all the comfort and perfect cleanliness. The forest is gorgeous, absolutely peaceful… What more could you want? The drive to the lodge is just awful. After the flat road, you can drive comfortably, then up to the lodge, which is in the woods, so the road matches that, but about 50 metres from Maringotka there are a bunch of pointless stones. I walked there four times with a relatively low SUV and tore my cover off. It would only take an hour of work to start the path with stones or just remove them. Also, cutting the grass from Maringotka to the bathroom would help. The whole weekend it rained, which otherwise didn’t matter, but we had constantly wet shoes. Because of the drive, I can’t imagine staying there again, because I can’t picture myself driving every day for a trip and having to do it twice. I’m sorry, because otherwise we had a wonderful weekend. With an SUV or a slightly taller car than a regular sedan, it’s fine. You go to the forest, not to a luxury hotel.
