I liked having a bathtub and the nearby Seven store, but the building felt a bit old and, being on the second floor, the room didn’t actually offer the promised view of Lake Payao.

“I will certainly stay at the same hotel if I visit Phayao again.”

I found the place perfect for my needs; the hotel stayed very clean and quiet, the staff were extremely friendly, and the pool was accessible at any time. Colleagues regularly picked me up, and the hotel’s spot let them dodge traffic jams. The lake view was stunning, and the nearby 7/11 was a convenient spot for food. Phuket church sits close by, though I never managed to catch it open, which was a pity. I did miss the on‑site breakfast, but I could buy one from a shop just a short walk away.

The room was spotless and beautifully decorated, but it's a shame they don't have a restaurant or bar on site. It's a great place to stay if you're looking for a quiet night in, but if you're craving a meal or a drink, you'll have to venture out.

“Perfect base to explore the area (with own transport)”

This place has it all - a stunning pool, spacious rooms with lake views, and a lovely park nearby for a leisurely stroll. The only downside is that they don't offer breakfast, but that's a minor quibble in an otherwise excellent stay.
