Check‑in was easy, the area is quiet, and the staff were helpful. Parking is plentiful, the walk to the room is short, and the bar area looks nice. The shower was great, but the water pressure was too strong for the tray and it overflowed onto the floor – that was the only small problem. A couple more towels would have helped in the family room.

The value is solid, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. It served as a convenient stop on our way north, and a pleasant walk along the canal is possible from the hotel. The staff were friendly, but the room we had booked was unavailable, so we were given a family room instead.
