Namib Naukluft Lodge is set on the private Nam Nau Habitat, south of Solitaire. Backed by granite hills, the lodge features an outdoor pool, on-site bar, and restaurant. Earth-toned en-suite rooms have air conditioning, refrigerators, and terraces with views. The lodge offers walking trails, a 9-hole desert golf course, and excursions to Sossusvlei, 1 hour from Sesriem. Local art is on display.

It was very nice. The food was excellent. The staff and everyone were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Erin, our tour guide, felt like a family friend. The location is beautiful, and the stars at night were an experience in themselves. Thank you very much.

A very, very beautiful lodge in perfect surroundings, with extraordinary food and a breakfast selection that fit well; the staff were very considerate, helpful, and friendly, especially the two managers. The lodge is about 1 hour from Sesriem and serves as a good starting point for trips to Sossusvlei. The bathroom is very outdated: the faucet has no mixer and instead has separate cold and hot taps, and the shower head is very low; renovations are definitely needed.

The staff were incredibly friendly, the outdoor dining area featured a braai, and the pool offered an amazing view; the excursions were good and the breakfast package was the best for our day trip to Sossusvlei, plus the night sky was full of stars with no light pollution. Nothing negative – it was awesome.
