The rooms were nice and clean, with two great bathrooms, a beautiful location, and a fun vibe thanks to the pink walls 😍. I might have appreciated a few extra towels.

Hotel Boutique Bonaire handled this situation in an extremely deceptive and unprofessional way. After I received a payment verification email stating that the payment had not been completed and that the reservation could be cancelled if verification was not completed within 24 hours, I reasonably believed the booking had not gone through. Instead of clearly informing me that the reservation was still active and non‑refundable, they later charged my card anyway through a different merchant name and a different amount without transparent communication or renewed verification. Customer service then acted as if they “couldn’t do anything” and pretended not to understand the issue, while fully keeping the money. What makes this even worse is that they knowingly allowed another reservation to be made afterwards while still charging and keeping payment for the original disputed reservation. At no point was there honest or transparent communication explaining the situation clearly before taking the money. This is not acceptable customer service and not transparent business practice. Extremely disappointing experience and very questionable payment handling.

The room was clean. I saw a rat on the balcony every night, and it would greet me. Aside from that, no other problems.

Clean apartment in a good location. I would have preferred a normal duvet instead of a thin sheet.
