I liked the personal touch, the facilities, the food, and the free activities like kayaking, surfing boards, masks, and a boat for nearby trips. The hammocks were comfy and tidy, and the books and board games were well organized. The air conditioning could be better, but that’s understandable since the island runs on solar power.

The beach area feels very exclusive; a few meters away you can step onto sand and into the sea. The staff’s service is exceptional for the price, even picking you up at Playa Blanca and handling your luggage. The hotel is all wood but the architecture is stunning, standing out among nearby resorts. The room has everything you need and the bed is incredibly comfortable, perfect after a long day at the beach. The food is delicious, really good. The tree shading the beach chairs makes you feel in paradise—you can sit and watch the sunset, sip something with a great view, or relax for hours if you want to take it slow. The hotel offers a dozen snorkels, one kayak for 2‑3 people, and one paddle‑surf board, a huge bonus because you can head to the nearby lagoon and enjoy nature while paddling. Water and power are available all the time, and a fan in the room helps with the heat, though the sea breeze does most of the work. The only downside is that transportation and food costs can be high—bus travel can be cheap, but overall prices are typical for tourist spots. The stairs to the second floor can be tricky for older adults or people with disabilities, but the first floor is safe and the staff would support any special needs.

Everything looks exactly as in the photos and what people write in the comments. The breakfast is varied and delicious. The room and bathroom are perfect for two people; naturally it gets hot because there is no air conditioning on the island, but the fan works well. The location is very good, and those who complain about the beach are just picky because the beach has a perfect slope down to the water and the stones are not bothersome at all. We didn’t do any excursions because we went for a relaxed stay and enjoyed what the hotel offered. We stayed two nights and everything was perfect. Nothing negative. I would even come back to Thani!
