The building had character and a sense of age, yet it was clean enough to feel relaxed; the lake right in front gave a great view, the room was spacious and good, and the sulfur‑smelling bath was surprisingly pleasant. There were no ultra‑modern facilities or anything like that.

The room was extremely large and the hot spring was fantastic. I was told there was a washing machine at reception, but when I tried to find it I couldn’t locate it, and since staff aren’t always at the desk, a map of the property would have been helpful.

The on‑site bath was a continuous hot spring flow and felt wonderful. They said a razor was available at reception, but when I went there there was none.

The room was very spacious and there was free laundry and drying service. There was no elevator, but the building only has two floors.
