“Un petit bijou pour ceux qui veulent voir autre chose que la Médina touristique”
We loved this cute little Riad at the gates of the Medina, quiet, in a less touristy area but very close to the ocean. Don’t let the distance from the Medina discourage you – the walk along the water is even a plus! Thiery and Nadia gave us a warm welcome even before the official check‑in time and were very good at advising us on how to discover Essaouira. The Riad and its rooms are well decorated and the rooftop is very pleasant for breakfasts or a game night. The rooms are small and hard to ventilate – but it’s a small price to pay to be in a magnificent Riad! The breakfast could be more varied and less sweet to our taste, but remains hearty and stands out from many other Riads with a portion of fresh fruit
