Stayed for one night at a decent hotel; dinner was good and drinks were solid. No complaints.
“Comfortable and welcoming.”
The staff were friendly, the room was comfortable, and the food quality was high. The portions were too large at first, but they reduced them when asked, because we hate to waste food.

The arrival welcome was friendly and the large ground‑floor room had a comfy bed with good quality linens. Bar food was fine, as was breakfast. The only downside was the many artificial flower arrangements that gave a dated impression and detracted from the otherwise very impressive cleanliness of the public areas and dining room.
Everyone was warm and friendly, the linens and towels were fresh and clean, bar staff very welcoming, plenty of breakfast choices, and the food was lovely, fresh, and hot. The only flaw was that the toilet seat could have been in better condition and a bit of paint was needed here and there.
