The location was charming in a palm grove. We stayed two days: on the first day the pool was dirty and unusable due to technical issues, and we were the only guests that day. The next morning they gave us stale sandwich bread that was several days old, dry like a shoe sole, only edible if you toasted it. On the second day there were two more guests, and the bread was fresh, though just a plain baguette. They could have offered the local "chapati," which is excellent, but the owners were eating it at the adjacent table. Breakfast was basic with bottled juice. When I mentioned the bread issue to the owner, she rudely told us to leave the accommodation at 08:30 after breakfast. It was disappointing how poorly she behaved, especially as she is a dark‑skinned woman managing the place. On top of that, they only speak French, which is unhelpful for a tourism‑dependent business.
