The family… the grandmother is exceptional! The meals, both dinner and breakfast, are incredibly generous… everything is homemade, a real Georgian kitchen!

Sleeping at Vodo's Guesthouse feels like joining a small Georgian family with two adorable babies, a caring mother and father, and a very funny grandmother! The dinner served was very good, as was the breakfast. The nights, plus two dinners and two breakfasts, cost less than 160 lari. The garden is also very pleasant, and while sitting there you can watch the village bustle and see the grandmother milking the cows. You truly feel immersed! 🥰 The bathroom and room were clean.

The best accommodation in Svaneti, great food, a welcoming vibe, and excellent homemade wine. The stay was a blast! Big kudos to Tota and his family – he was kind beyond hospitality and eager to meet all our requests. He drove us from Kutaisi to Chvabiani, and at the end of our trek from Ushghuli to Tbilisi, he brought our luggage. Always in a great mood, he took us to the best hidden restaurants (the best khachapuri and lobiani for breakfast!), and helped us discover Georgia’s beauty. A truly excellent guy; I can’t wait to return – he and his family make the trip worthwhile!
